Threshfield Quarry
Festival of British Archaeology 2008

The display at Church House, Grassington

This was a two sided display consisting of 32 panels and was produced by the UWHG for the Festival of British Archaeology in 2008. (for the purposes of web display the contents of the lower panels (Oral history) have been compressed into one panel/webpage)

It was displayed it at Church House, Grassington and at Long Ashes Leisure Park for the Festival. It was also displayed at the North Yorkshire County Councilís Historic Enviroment day in Northallerton and was later  loaned to the Tarmac Quarry at Swinden. A small section was displayed at the Yorkshire Dales National Parkís Historic Enviroment event at Grassington
